| General Information |
- Swimming is not only an important safety skill, but can be a lifelong activity that provides stress reduction and exercise. We hope that our programs will help our developing swimmers learn the skills they need to become strong, proficient, healthy swimmers.
- Lessons are grouped into 4 week sessions, eight classes each from September-June, and into two week sessions, eight classes each in July and August. Levels 1-3 last 30 minutes, and Swim Clinics last 45 minutes.
- Registration for each session begins the last FRIDAY of the current session at 12pm.
- Students already enrolled in a class can pre-register for the following session on the last day their class meets.
- Payment MUST be made at the time of registration.
- There are no refunds. Make-up classes are not offered.
- Hair must be secured out of face. Goggles are not allowed in levels 1-3, but are required for Swim Clinics.
- All classes are limited in size.
- Levels 1-3 are held in the recreation pool.
- Swim Clinics are held in the deeper, cooler, 25 meter lap pool.
- Private lessons for adults and children are available. Club members: for beginning Swim Levels 1-3, the fee is $15.00 per lesson, for Swim Clinic Levels the fee is $25.00 per lesson. Non Club Members: for beginning Swim Levels 1-3, the fee is $25.00 per lesson, for Swim Clinic Levels the fee is $35.00 per lesson. All lessons are one half hour in duration. - Planning a birthday party?? Members should contact the front desk for more information on making it a LaCamas swim party!
- On the last lesson day, parents are invited into the pool area to watch up close and take pictures.
